As of 1/11/2016, Private Health Funds decided not to cover circumcision under 6 months without a general anaesthetic. I have been performing high quality safe circumcisions in Private Hospitals for 30 years.
I am still doing an operating list at Newcastle Private Hospital but the out of pocket fees for insured patients will be increased due to the health fund withdrawing support.
Please contact your fund for further details.
I have set up an equivalent service in the new operating procedure rooms at Brunker Road Medical Centre.
